As a Bizzy Buddyz Educarer, you can work from your own home with hours that are compatible with you and your family, while providing care and learning experiences for children.

Requirements of an Educarer
Educarers provide a stimulating programme based on Te Whāriki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, while providing stable and consistent care and education for the children they care for.
To become an Educarer, there are several requirements that need to be met:
- Your home and section must meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Education, including providing a clean, safe and hygienic indoor and outdoor environment.
- Your section must be appropriately fenced.
- Police checks will be completed for yourself, your partner and anyone else in your home over the age of 17.
- Educarers are required to complete the EDU403 Early Childhood Practice course.
- You are required to maintain a current first aid certificate.
Additional training opportunities are also made available, which Bizzy Buddyz Educarers are encouraged to attend.
